Join us for our March in-person Indivisible Las Vegas Membership meeting. Doors open at 10:45 am with the meeting beginning at 11:00 am.

Special Guest Speaker: Lorena Portillo, Clark County Registrar
About Lorena
Lorena S. Portillo was appointed the Clark County Registrar of Voters in March 2023, bringing more than 25 years of experience in elections to the office. As Registrar, Ms. Portillo serves as director of the County Election Department and is responsible for administering all local, state, and federal elections for almost 1.5 million active registered voters in Clark County. Ms. Portillo first joined the Election Department in 1998 as a part-time worker and soon earned a full-time position with the department. Over the years, Ms. Portillo steadily rose through the ranks, serving in various roles, including manager of the Administration Division and Assistant Registrar of Voters, a job she held for eight years. During this time, she led many programs and projects, including the bilingual outreach program and oversaw budgeting and personnel for the department. Ms. Portillo was born and raised in Las Vegas. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Elections Registration Administrator through The Election Center.
This is a great opportunity to stay informed, get involved, and connect with others committed to protecting democracy and advancing progressive values in Southern Nevada and beyond.
In-Person Meetings are held monthly on the third Sunday, and include:
- Updates on local, state, and national issues
- Calls to action and volunteer opportunities
- Time for discussion, networking, and organizing
