Care, Not Cuts! Protest September 5
About this Event
Care Action Nevada and Indivisible Las Vegas are joining forces to stand up for our communities!
We are protesting dangerous cuts to our social safety nets — including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security — and exposing the injustices and deep flaws in the “Big #$%^&* Bill”.
These programs are lifelines. They are promises made to the people — and we refuse to let them be broken.
Join us on S. Eastern Avenue and Coronado Center Dr., by the Henderson Social Security Office, to raise our voices, protect our future, and demand that our leaders put people over politics.
Please note: A core principle behind our protest actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.
