US Senators “Empty Chairs” Town Hall

Indivisible Las Vegas has extended an invitation to U.S. Senators Jacky Rosen and Catherine Cortez Masto to participate in a solution-focused town hall forum. This event offers both Senators the opportunity to speak directly with constituents and demonstrate their commitment to using every available tool and innovative approach to restore stability and progress in our nation. We aim to foster a constructive, engaging dialogue rooted in accountability and hope.
If both Senators choose not to attend, we will hold an “Empty Chair” event. In their absence, community members will step forward to share powerful, personal stories about the fear, instability, and injustice the current regime is inflicting on their lives. Together, we will channel that pain into purpose—recommitting ourselves to the fight against fascism and the defense of our democracy.
This is an official event hosted by Indivisible Las Vegas.
Updates
On Wednesday, May 7 we received notification that Senator Rosen will not be attending our Town Hall. There will be an empty chair representing her absence.
As of May 17, Senator Cortez Masto has not responded to our multiple attempt to contact her.
