Signs of Solidarity is an initiative to inspire Las Vegas local businesses to show support for immigrant communities. By placing this decal on your storefront, you send a message that you stand with this community.
As ICE and Border Patrol become a bigger threat to immigrants, regardless of their citizen status, we have the power to show the city and its visitors that we are pro-immigrant.
Why Businesses Should Join the Initiative
ICE and Border Patrol have been entering small businesses without warrants to detain people. By displaying this sign, you’re creating a space that’s safe for immigrants.
You can also create a private area in your business just for employees. ICE can enter any public space but must have a signed and dated judicial warrant to access private ones.
Our community is under threat by masked, often lawless ICE figures who are terrorizing cities across the U.S. This is one small way you can show your resisistance.
How It Works
Las Vegas businesses interested in joining Signs of Solidarity can complete the form on this page. Once we receive your information, we will send you the decal and an Employees Only sign. We’ll also provide you with other information on your rights and those of your employees should an ICE raid occur.
Indivisible Las Vegas members will also be visiting businesses across the valley in person to offer these materials.
Once you have your decal, affix it to your business’ storefront or other high-visibility areas. The decals are clings and are easy to install and remove. Take a picture of it and send it to indivisiblelasvegas@gmail.com with the subject line: Signs of Solidarity.
